Brangus Cross Exposed Heifers

Original price was: $2,400.00.Current price is: $2,199.00.

We are offering a quality group of 14 Brangus and Brangus Cross exposed heifers, selected for performance, fertility, and adaptability. These females average approximately 825 lbs and are in excellent condition, making them ideal candidates for both commercial and registered-based operations looking to add durable, productive genetics.

These heifers were exposed to Low Birth Weight (LBW) Angus bulls beginning August 12, offering strong potential for calving ease and live, vigorous calves. They carry just the right amount of ear and leather, with most showing ¼ to ½ ear, combining heat tolerance with the maternal strength Brangus cattle are known for. This balance makes them especially well-suited for Southern and transitional climates.

A comprehensive health and management program has been followed. The heifers have been worked with Virashield, Vision 7 with Spur, and a 3-Way Pinkeye/Footrot vaccine. They have also been implanted and thoroughly dewormed using Injectable Cydectin, Safeguard, and Bimectin Pour-On, ensuring they are healthy, thriving, and ready to transition smoothly into a new program.

These females are currently running on a Purina Mineral Program and quality fescue pasture, allowing them to maintain condition efficiently on forage-based nutrition. They are also feed truck broke, making them easy to handle and manage, whether on pasture or in a working environment.

The heifers are located in Dayton, Texas, with hauling or shipping available to meet buyer needs. This is a solid, uniform set of exposed heifers with genetics and management that add immediate value to any herd.
